Pulsing Green
If your Friendship Lamp is pulsing green, that means it's searching for Wi-Fi. It should always pulse green right after you plug it in. It'll keep looking for Wi-Fi until it connects.

Pulsing Red
Your Friendli does not have an active subscription linked to it.
Please note that the subscription fee applies to each FriendLi Lamp. If multiple individuals in your group own a FriendLi Lamp, each person will be required to purchase a subscription. Additionally, each mobile device can only be linked to one Friendship Lamp via the app, irrespective of the lamp model. Each Friendli subscription includes our Remote Touch feature and Extended Warranty at no additional charge. Our FriendLi Friendship Lamps are compatible with all Friendship Lamps and Frames.
Pulsing Green and Yellow/Orange
For some firmware versions, orange (or yellowish) follows after pulsing green. Your lamp is just saying that it couldn't get online and will go back to searching again in a minute.
Pulsing Blue
Pulsing blue indicates that your Friendship Lamp is successfully configured to your Wi-Fi network, but isn't able to access anything on the internet. This can be caused by firewall settings on your router, a weak internet connection, or by trying to connect through a captive portal. In many cases, restarting your Wi-Fi router can help. If you are using an Eero home Wi-Fi mesh network and your Friendship Lamp is blinking blue after setup, please contact support for assistance.

Pulsing blue and green
Similarly to pulsing blue, this color combo usually means your Friendship Lamp is ready to connect, but there's an issue with the bridge. Check to make sure your bridge is connected to your router or modem with an Ethernet cable. Then unplug and replug your bridge from the black power cord only to reboot it, leaving the Ethernet cable connected. After a minute or two, your bridge should complete its reboot and display a solid green light. Your Friendship Lamp should be able to connect soon after.
If you're trying to connect without the bridge, make sure that the bridge is unplugged completely so your lamp doesn't get confused! If your lamp still can't connect, you may need a firmware update for your bridge.
Read more here: Updating your Bridge.
Pulsing violet
Your Friendship Lamp will pulse violet when your computer, phone, or other device is connected to it during setup. This color lets you know that the lamp and your device are talking to each other as you configure your lamp for your Wi-Fi network.
Pulsing pink
Your lamp will pulse pink to let you know it has found a hidden network! Most of the time, this means the Filimin bridge. If your Friendship Lamp continues to pulse pink after moving it closer to the bridge, contact us for help.
Startup Rainbow
When your Friendship Lamp flashes a bunch of colors and then goes dark, it has successfully connected to our servers! Hooray!
Cool Color Steps
When your lamp flips slowly from light green to deep blue, it's telling you that it has received and saved your settings.
Solid, dull Red
Your Friendship lamp is checking for an update. If it's scheduled for a firmware update, it will remain solid red while it installs the update. Please do not unplug your Friendship Lamp while it is updating. Once the update is completed, your Friendship Lamp will reboot and try to connect back to Wi-Fi. If your lamp stays solid red for longer than a few minutes, don't touch it, but do contact us for assistance.
Solid Teal
A solid teal color means your Friendship Lamp is connecting to our online servers. If your lamp stays this color for longer than a few minutes, don't touch it, but do contact us for assistance.
White flashes
Your Friendship Lamp may light up white briefly when it powers on and also when it reboots. In itself, this doesn't indicate a problem and is just an attribute of certain hardware components which we've changed on newer lamps. If your lamp flashes white often, however, it may be having trouble staying connected to your Wi-Fi.
