Not all Friendship Lamps require a subscription—only FriendLi models do.
Here’s how it works:
🔍 Which lamps need a subscription?
👉 FriendLi Lamps
✔ Require a subscription to send and receive touches
👉 All other Friendship Lamps (Modern, Mid-Century, Frames, etc.)
✔ Do NOT require a subscription. It is optional.
✔ Work right out of the box once connected to Wi-Fi
💡 Why does my lamp keep pulsing red?
If your lamp is pulsing red, it means:
👉 Your FriendLi lamp does not have an active subscription
Without a subscription:
- The lamp will not send or receive touches
- It will continue pulsing red until activated
💳 How subscriptions work
- Each FriendLi lamp needs its own subscription
- Plans can include 1, 2, or 3 lamps

Subscriptions are managed through:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
👉 This means:
- We’re not able to cancel or refund subscriptions directly
- Billing questions should be handled through your app store
📱 How many lamps can I manage?
- Up to 3 lamps per device
- You can switch between lamps anytime in the app

- Send touches from your phone
- Keep your lamp connected and working
- Extended warranty while active
❌ What if I don’t want a subscription?
That’s totally okay!
👉 You can still use any non-FriendLi Friendship Lamp without a subscription.
