The Remote Touch feature in the Friendship Lamp app lets you send color touches to your loved ones from anywhere. Right now, the app can only connect with one lamp at a time. Even if you have multiple lamps registered, you’ll need to switch between them if you want to control a different one.
How to Check Which Lamp Is Connected to the App
-
Open the Friendship Lamp app.
-
Tap the three lines (menu icon) in the top right corner.
-
You’ll see the app version, the Device ID, the lamp owner's name, and the email you're logged in with.
-
Make sure the Device ID shown matches the lamp you want to send touches from.
To double-check the connected lamp:
-
Tap the circle icon in the upper left corner of the home screen to open your lamp's settings and see its Device ID.
Want to Switch to a Different Lamp?
No problem! Here's how:
-
From the app home screen, tap “WiFi Setup.”
-
If the lamp is already online, tap “Use my existing device” to connect to it.
-
If the lamp is offline or needs to be connected, tap “Set up my lamp” and follow the steps.
Once you're connected, tap the heart icon at the bottom of the app to send remote touches to your group, a circle, or a specific person.
Staying Connected to More Than One Lamp
The Remote Touch subscription is tied to one lamp at a time. If your loved ones also want to send touches from the app, you can gift them a subscription so they can control their own lamp remotely too. This way, everyone stays connected no matter where they are 💛
