If your Friendship Lamp stops responding, blinks unexpectedly, or goes offline often, it may be losing its connection to WiFi.
Most lamps reconnect automatically, but frequent disconnections are usually caused by network or signal issues.
Here are some things you can check.
1. Check WiFi Signal Strength
If the lamp is too far from your router, the signal may be too weak to maintain a stable connection.
Try moving the lamp:
• closer to your router
• closer to your Filimin Bridge (if you're using one)
• away from thick walls or large furniture
A stronger signal often resolves frequent disconnections.
2. Restart Your Router
Temporary internet interruptions can cause the lamp to disconnect.
Try restarting your router:
Unplug the router.
Wait 30 seconds.
Plug it back in.
Allow a few minutes for the internet connection to restore.
Your lamp should reconnect automatically once the network is available again.
3. Check for Network Interference
Some devices may cause wireless interference if they are very close to the lamp or router.
Try moving the lamp away from:
• smart TVs
• streaming devices
• wireless speakers
• other routers or mesh nodes
Even moving the lamp a few feet can sometimes improve the connection.
4. Check Power Connections
If the lamp loses power briefly, it may appear to disconnect from the network.
Make sure:
• the power cord is secure
• the outlet is working properly
• the lamp is plugged into a stable power source
Using a surge protector can help prevent power interruptions.
5. Make Sure Your Internet Connection Is Stable
If your internet connection frequently drops, the lamp may appear to disconnect.
You may notice similar issues with other devices like phones, computers, or smart TVs.
If this happens regularly, you may want to contact your internet service provider.
6. Keep Your Lamp Updated
Occasionally, firmware updates improve network stability.
