We’re sorry your Friendship Lamp is having trouble. Our support team can help review the issue and determine the best next step.
Warranty and replacement options depend on where the lamp was purchased, when it was purchased, the type of issue, and whether the lamp has active Extended Warranty coverage.
Start with troubleshooting
Many lamp issues can be fixed without a replacement.
Before submitting a warranty or replacement request, please review the troubleshooting guide that best matches the issue:

If troubleshooting does not solve the problem, contact our support team.
What is covered by the warranty?
Friendship Lamps include a limited warranty for qualifying product defects.
Warranty eligibility may depend on:
- The original purchase date
- Where the lamp was purchased
- Whether proof of purchase is available
- The type of problem
- Whether the lamp has been misused, damaged, altered, or used with incompatible parts
- Whether Extended Warranty coverage is active through a qualifying subscription
Our support team will review the details before approving a replacement or other solution.
Extended Warranty coverage
Some subscription features include Extended Warranty coverage while the subscription remains active.
Extended Warranty coverage only applies while the qualifying subscription is active and linked to the correct lamp.
If you believe your lamp is covered by Extended Warranty, please include a screenshot of your subscription status without showing full payment details.
What if I bought the lamp from Amazon or another retailer?
If your lamp was purchased from Amazon, a retail store, or another marketplace, returns and refunds usually follow that retailer’s policy.
Our support team can still help troubleshoot the product.
For warranty review, we may ask for:
- Proof of purchase
- The retailer name
- The order date
- The Lamp ID
- Photos or videos showing the issue
What if my lamp was a gift?
We can still help troubleshoot a gifted lamp.
For warranty or replacement review, we may need proof of purchase from the person who bought it.
If you do not have the order information, contact support with the Lamp ID and any details you have.
What if I bought the lamp secondhand?
Secondhand purchases may not qualify for warranty coverage.
We can still try to help with setup, Lamp ID issues, and basic troubleshooting.
If the app says the Lamp ID is already registered, see Lamp ID Issues: Missing, Invalid, or Already Registered.
What if the lamp is outside the warranty period?
If the lamp is outside the warranty period, it may not qualify for a free replacement.
Our support team can help review available options, which may include troubleshooting, replacement parts, or current product recommendations and discounts.
What if my lamp arrived damaged?
If your lamp arrived damaged, contact support as soon as possible.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Your Lamp ID, if available
- Photos of the damaged item
- Photos of the packaging
- A brief description of what happened
Do not throw away the packaging until support has reviewed the issue.
What if my lamp will not turn on?
First check:
- The power cord is fully connected
- The outlet works with another device
- The correct power cord is being used
- The cord and power port are not visibly damaged
If your lamp uses USB-C, see Replacement USB-C Power Cord for Friendship Lamps.
If the lamp still does not turn on, contact support.
