If the Friendship Lamps App opens to a white or blank screen, the app may not have loaded correctly or may be having trouble connecting to the app service.
Try the steps below.
1. Close and reopen the app
Completely close the Friendship Lamps App, then open it again.
On most phones, this means swiping the app away from the recent apps screen before reopening it.
2. Check your internet connection
Make sure your phone or tablet has an active internet connection.
Try switching between:
- Wi-Fi
- Cellular data
Then reopen the app.
3. Turn off VPNs or privacy services
VPNs, Private Relay, ad blockers, or privacy apps may prevent the app from loading correctly.
Temporarily turn off services such as:
- VPN apps
- Apple Private Relay
- DuckDuckGo App Tracking Protection
- Norton VPN
- Other privacy or security apps
Then close and reopen the Friendship Lamps App.
4. Update the app
Check the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for an available update.
Install any available update, then reopen the app.
5. Restart your phone or tablet
Restart the device, then open the Friendship Lamps App again.
6. Reinstall the app
If the screen is still blank:
- Delete the Friendship Lamps App.
- Restart your phone or tablet.
- Reinstall the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the app and sign in again.
If your lamp is already registered, choose Use My Existing Lamp when linking it back to the app.
