If you aren’t receiving notifications, follow these steps in order:
Check Your Phone Settings
App notifications: Make sure notifications are enabled for the Friendship Lamps app in your phone settings.
Phone settings: Double-check that your phone allows notifications in general (some settings like "Do Not Disturb" can block them).
Restart your phone: Sometimes a quick reboot can help reset things.
Verify Your Subscription
Go to the App Store or Google Play Store and check that your subscription is still active.
If it is, open the Friendship Lamps app, go to My Purchases, and tap Restore Purchases to refresh your subscription status.
Check Your Lamp Setup
Ensure your lamp is connected and set up correctly in the app.
Remote Touch should only be active on one device per lamp.
Resubscribe to push notifications
Open the app and go to Settings.
Tap Resubscribe to Push Notifications to refresh your connection.
If resubscribing doesn't work - use Debug Mode
This helps reset the subscription connection:
Open the Friendship Lamps app and got to Settings.
Tap your Lamp ID 4–5 times to unlock advanced options.
- Select Unsubscribe from Push Notifications
Return to Settings and Resubscribe to Push Notifications again.
A Quick Note on Delays
Notifications are sent using Firebase, a third-party service. Occasionally, there might be slight delays—but following the steps above usually clears things up.
