π Pulsing Green-Yellow
Your lamp is searching for a saved Wi-Fi network. This is normal for a short time after plugging it in.
If it continues pulsing green-yellow:
- Make sure your router and internet are working.
- Move the lamp closer to the router or Filimin Bridge.
- Unplug the lamp for 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
- Allow a few minutes for it to reconnect.
If it still does not connect, the Wi-Fi information may need to be entered again.

π΄ Pulsing Red (FriendLi Only)
A pulsing red light usually means the FriendLi does not have an active subscription or cannot verify its subscription.
Important:
- Each FriendLi lamp needs its own subscription.
- A mobile device can have a plan for up to three lamps, but only one lamp can be actively synced at a time.
- FriendLi subscriptions include Remote Touch and Extended Warranty while the subscription remains active.
- FriendLi works with all Friendship Lamps and Frames.
Check that the subscription is active and linked to the correct Lamp ID.
ππ’ Pulsing Green + Yellow/Orange
Your lamp was unable to connect and is waiting to try again. This can happen when:
- The Wi-Fi information is missing or incorrect.
- The network is temporarily unavailable.
- The lamp is ready for Wi-Fi setup.
- Certain firmware versions are retrying the connection.
Restart the lamp and router first. If the pattern continues, complete Wi-Fi setup again through the Friendship Lamps App.
π΅ Pulsing Blue
Your lamp has connected to the Wi-Fi router but cannot fully reach the internet or Friendship Lamps service.
On Eero and some other mesh networks, the lamp may pulse blue for approximately two minutes before it finishes connecting. This can be normal.
If it continues pulsing blue:
- Restart the Wi-Fi router.
- Check whether the lamp is paused or blocked in the router settings.
- Avoid guest networks or networks requiring a browser sign-in.
- Check for firewall, parental-control, or device-isolation settings.

π΅π’ Pulsing Blue + Green
Your lamp is trying to connect through a Filimin Bridge, but the bridge may not be fully online.
Try this:
- Make sure the bridge is connected to your router or modem with an Ethernet cable.
- Unplug only the bridgeβs power cord.
- Wait a few seconds, then plug it back in.
- Wait for the bridge to show a solid green light.
- The lamp should connect shortly afterward.
If you are no longer using a bridge, unplug it completely so the lamp does not continue trying to connect through it.
π Pulsing Violet
Your lamp is in setup mode and communicating with your phone, tablet, or computer.
This is normal while the lamp is receiving Wi-Fi information. Continue following the setup instructions on your device.
π Pulsing Pink
Your lamp found a saved hidden network, such as the network created by a Filimin Bridge.
Allow it a few minutes to finish connecting.
If it continues pulsing pink:
- Move the lamp closer to the bridge or router.
- Confirm that the bridge is powered on and connected.
- Restart the bridge and lamp.
π Connection Rainbow
Does your lamp display several colors and then turn off?
That usually means it successfully connected to the Friendship Lamps service and is ready to receive a touch.
The lamp does not need to stay lit while it waits, but touching it will turn it on.
Cool Color Steps (Green to Blue)
This means your lamp received and saved the settings you entered.
Allow it a few minutes to finish connecting. A startup rainbow followed by darkness usually means the connection was successful.
π΄ Solid, Dull Red
The lamp is installing a firmware update.
Do not unplug or touch it while the update is in progress. Allow it time to finish and restart on its own.
If it remains solid red for an unusually long time and does not restart, contact our support team before unplugging it.
π¦ Solid Teal
Your lamp is attempting to connect to the Friendship Lamps servers.
Allow it a few minutes to finish.
If it remains solid teal and does not come online, leave it plugged in and contact our support team with your Lamp ID and a photo of the label on the bottom.
βͺ White Flashes
Brief white flashes may appear when the lamp powers on or restarts. This is usually normal.
Β
Frequent flashes?Β
The lamp may be repeatedly restarting or losing its connection.
