Have you recently changed your Wi-Fi network name or password, or installed a new Wi-Fi router? Or if you've moved your Friendship Lamp to a new location with unfamiliar Wi-Fi, your lamp may need to be set up again before it can connect to your group.
If your Friendship Lamp is already registered to an account on manager.filimin.com, there's no need to delete your lamp from your account when setting up to new Wi-Fi. All your other settings will remain the same after your lamp is reconnected.
Here is a link with extra tips on how to set up the lamp: Getting Started: How to set up your Friendship Lamp (for app users)
Without a Filimin Bridge
If you're not using a Filimin Bridge, that's okay! You can update your Friendship Lamp's saved Wi-Fi settings by repeating the App setup. Your Friendship Lamp can store 2 sets of saved Wi-Fi credentials at a time, so if you regularly use your Friendship Lamp at 2 different locations, you can have your Friendship Lamp stay set up for both of them, no need to repeat the setup every time.
In case your lamp does not connect with the new Wi-Fi you can reset the lamp:
Let's reset your lamp! The easiest way to reset your Friendship Lamp without losing the connection to your group would be to factory reset it. This will wipe the current information off of the Friendship Lamp. To factory reset your Friendship Lamp, start with your lamp plugged in and then unplug and plug it back in quickly four times. After plugging it in the fourth time, you should see it do a slow rainbow and then begin to flash green. Once it begins flashing green you should be able to set it up on your Wi-Fi network again. Once the lamp is set up, All it will need is to be registered and it will be good to go.
With a Filimin Bridge
Changes to your Wi-Fi network name or password won't cause your lamp to disconnect if you're using a Filimin Bridge. If you're connecting to a new router, simply follow the instructions in our Filimin Bridge Setup article to get reconnected.
