If you've recently changed your WiFi name or password, your Friendship Lamp may need a little help reconnecting. Here's what to do, depending on how you originally set up your lamp:
If You Used the Friendship Lamps App to Set Up:
You can update your lamp’s WiFi settings directly in the app—no need to redo the full setup!
Open the Friendship Lamps App.
Tap the three lines in the top corner to open the main menu.
Select "Update WiFi Credentials."
Follow the steps to connect your lamp to your new network.
Once that’s done, your lamp should reconnect and be ready to use again.
If You Have the App But Don't See That Option:
If the update option isn’t visible, follow these steps to reconnect your lamp using the app's regular WiFi setup process:
Open the Friendship Lamps App and select "WiFi Setup" from the home screen.
Tap "Set up my lamp".
On the next screen, unplug your lamp and plug it back in, then tap Next.
Choose "WiFi/Bluetooth Setup" on the following screen.
Tap "Other Lamp".
-
When asked, join the Filimin Network — it will appear in your phone’s WiFi list as:
Filimin_XXXXXX, whereXXXXXXis your lamp's ID.- 🔐 If prompted for a password, enter:
I love you(case-sensitive).
- 🔐 If prompted for a password, enter:
-
Your lamp should turn purple. The app will then ask for your WiFi name and password.
✅ Tip: Double-check for extra spaces—phones sometimes add one at the end of the password!
Tap Save. The lamp will blink green as it saves your settings.
If you're using a FriendLi, make sure your subscription is active.
Once connected, the lamp will do a rainbow flash, then go dark—ready to use!

Once set up is complete, you'll see the "Update WiFi Credentials" option for future changes.
✨ You don’t need to re-invite anyone to your group—your lamp will still be linked if you use the same Lamp ID.
If You Set Up Without the App:
If you didn’t use the app before, or if you're not seeing the update option, you’ll need to set up your lamp again just like it’s brand new.
Don’t worry—it’s quick! You can follow our step-by-step setup guide for the Advanced Setup
