Friendship Lamps connect through groups, allowing you to stay in touch with loved ones. You can manage your lamps and groups by creating an account at manager.filimin.com. For instructions on setting up groups and inviting loved ones, see Setting Up Groups and Inviting a Loved One.
How Groups Work:
- Each Friendship Lamp can only be in one group at a time.
- When your lamp is online, it interacts with all other online lamps in its group.
- Touching your lamp sends a color signal to the whole group, lighting up all connected lamps in that color.
- If a lamp is offline, it won’t light up right away but will receive the touch when it reconnects.
- Adding your lamp to a new group removes it from the previous group. Your name will stay in the old group but will show "No Friendship Lamp" next to it.
- You can only send and receive touches within the group your lamp is currently in.
Managing Multiple Groups
There is no limit to the number of groups or lamps you can have on your account. You can switch your lamp between groups anytime, but we recommend having a separate lamp for each group so you never miss a touch.
Using Remote Touch to Create Subgroups and Send Individual Touches
If you have a Remote Touch subscription, you can:
- Create subgroups within a larger group through the app.
- Send touches to individual lamps from your phone, instead of lighting up the entire group.
For details on setting up a Circle and managing touches in the app, see [Creating a Circle in the Friendship Lamp App].
