Important information for new users: If your Friendship Lamp or Frame was purchased as part of a Set of 2, it will already be in a factory preset group with its partner, courtesy of our Filimin shipping team. Lamps and Frames purchased as Single Add-ons will need to be added to a group once you receive them (unless you requested a custom grouping when you placed your order).
To access your group settings, you'll need to already have an account on manager.filimin.com with a Filimin Device registered. If you haven't done that yet, see these articles for help: Register Your Friendship Lamp (Bridge Users) or Direct to Wi-Fi/Advanced Setup (no bridge).
NOTE: You don’t have to delete your Filimin Device in order to change groups. If you delete your device, you’ll have to re-register it. First, check out the steps below to see if you can accomplish your goal without deleting your device. It may save you some time later.

On your account dashboard, locate the "Edit" button to the right of the group name you'd like to change.
On the drop-down menu, select "Change name".
A box will appear for you to type a new name for your group. Once the new name is entered, click "Save" to update your dashboard.
Inviting a new user to your group
On your account dashboard, locate the "Edit" button to the right of the name of the group you'd like to invite a new user to join.
On the drop-down menu, select "Invite a loved one".
A box will appear for you to type the email address of the user you'd like to invite to your group. Once the user's email address is entered, click "Send Invite".
This will send an email to the address you provided inviting them to log in or create an account on manager.filimin.com so they can view your invite. On their dashboard, they'll be able to cancel or approve your invite and select which of their devices they'd like to add to your group.
Before they accept your invite, you can also choose to revoke the invite on your dashboard.
Requesting an invite to another user's group
On your account dashboard, click on the name of the individual device you would like to add to another user's group.
The "Edit device" window should appear and display that device's settings. Under "Group", click the drop-down menu and select "Request Group Invite".
A new box will appear for you to type the email address of the user whose group you'd like to join. Once the user's email address is entered, click "Send Request".
An email will be sent to that address notifying the user of your request to join their group. They can then log in to their own account on manager.filimin.com and approve your request, adding your device to their group. This change will be visible on your dashboard as well.
If you change your mind before your request is approved, you can revoke your request at any time on your dashboard.
Moving your Filimin Device to a different group on your account
If you're a member of multiple groups, you should see all your groups listed on your dashboard. To move one of your Filimin Devices from one group on your dashboard to another, click on the name of the individual device you would like to move.
The "Edit device" window should appear and display that device's settings. Under "Group", click the drop-down menu. All your account's groups will appear under the heading "My Groups". Select which of your groups you'd like to move the device to, then click the blue "Save" button to update your device's settings. Your device will be removed from the original group and added to the new group.
Creating a new group
Click on the name of one of your registered Filimin Devices.
The "Edit device" window should appear and display that device's settings. Under "Group", click the drop-down menu and select "Create new group".
Enter a name for your new group, then click "Create". This will add the new group to your account dashboard.
To add the current device you're viewing to the new group, simply click the blue "Save" button, or you can click "Cancel" to leave the group empty for now. You can always move any of your registered devices to the new group by following the directions in the section above, or you can remove the new group from your account by following the directions in the next section.
Leaving a group
If you ever move your Filimin Devices to new groups, you may end up with an old group on your account that you are no longer using. You can leave this group and remove it from your account without interfering with any other users' devices that may still be in the group.
On your account dashboard, locate the "Edit" button to the right of the name of the group you'd like to leave.
On the drop-down menu, select "Leave".
You'll receive a warning letting you know that any devices you have assigned to this group will be removed from the group. Click "Yes" to leave the group.
The group will disappear from your dashboard, but any of your devices that were removed from the group will remain registered to your account.
