Fade time

The fade time is how long it takes for your Friendship Lamp to slowly dim back to dark after it lights up—either from your own touch or from someone in your group.

By default, your lamp is set to fade over 1.5 hours. Every time someone touches a lamp in the group, the timer resets.
For example:

• You touch your lamp at 9:00 AM

• Someone in your group touches their lamp at 10:00 AM

• Your lamp will now fade out around 11:30 AM, not 10:30

Change the Fade Time in the App

1. Open the Friendship Lamps app

2. Tap the lamp icon in the upper left corner of the screen

3. Tap on your synced lamp to open its settings

4. Scroll down to find Fade Time

5. Choose from:

   • 30 minutes

   • 1.5 hours

   • 4 hours

   • 8 hours

   • 24 hours

6. Don’t forget to tap Save!

Change the Fade Time on the Website

1. Visit manager.filimin.com and log in

2. Click on your device name in the dashboard

3. Look for the Fade Time and click "Update"

4. Choose your preferred fade duration from the dropdown

5. Click Save Settings to apply the change
