Can I set up my loved one’s Friendship Lamp before I send it to them?

Yes, to an extent! If you’re having your loved one’s Friendship Lamp shipped to you first, you can set it up at your home before giving it to them. This lets you:

• Make sure the lamp is working properly.
• Register it to an account at manager.filimin.com.
• Customize group settings, device nicknames, Fade Time, and Sleep Time.
• Select their device’s default color.

If the Lamp Was Pre-Paired with Yours:

If your loved one’s Friendship Lamp was pre-paired with your own, you can also access their settings by registering your own lamp.

What You Can’t Set Up in Advance:

The only thing you cannot configure beforehand is Wi-Fi settings.

• Wi-Fi setup must be done in person at the location where the lamp will be used.
• If you connect their lamp to your home Wi-Fi first, you do not need to reset anything before they set it up in their own home.
