We're sorry you're experiencing issues with Remote Touch notifications! Here are a few steps you can try to get things working smoothly again:
đź”” Check Your Notification Settings
-
App notifications: Make sure notifications are enabled for the Friendship Lamps app in your phone settings.
-
Phone settings: Double-check that your phone allows notifications in general (some settings like "Do Not Disturb" can block them).
-
Restart your phone: Sometimes a quick reboot can help reset things.
🔄 Verify Your Subscription
-
Go to the App Store or Google Play Store and check that your subscription is still active.
-
If it is, open the Friendship Lamps app, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases to refresh your subscription status.
đź’ˇ Check Your Lamp Setup
-
Open the app and make sure your lamp is correctly connected and assigned to your group.
-
If you’re using Remote Touch, it should only be active on one device for each lamp.
🧪 Enable Debug Mode
This helps reset the subscription connection:
-
Open the Friendship Lamps app.
-
Go to Settings.
-
Tap your Lamp ID 4–5 times.
-
Look for an option to Resubscribe.
⏱️ A Quick Note on Delays
Notifications are sent using Firebase, a third-party service. Occasionally, there might be slight delays—but following the steps above usually clears things up.
