To an extent, yes! If you're having your loved one's Friendship Lamp shipped to you before you give it to them, you can absolutely set it up at your own home first! This will let you make sure their lamp is working properly, and you can even register their Friendship Lamp or Frame to an account on manager.filimin.com in order to customize group settings, change device nicknames, Fade Time, and Sleep Time, and select their device's color.
If your loved one's device came pre-paired with your own Friendship Lamp, you can also access their settings by registering your own device.
The only thing you cannot configure beforehand for your loved one is their device's Wi-Fi settings. Wi-Fi setup must be completed in person with the Friendship Lamp at the location where the user wants to connect. If you connect your loved one's Friendship Lamp in your own home first, it is not necessary to delete any settings before connecting the device in its permanent home.
