This is a list of the different possible error codes you can receive when trying to run the Auto Configuration program, and solutions on how to fix it.
Error Code 1: It looks like this device doesn’t have Wi-Fi, or is missing the correct Wi-Fi software. Please try using the automatic setup app on a different Wi-Fi enabled Windows device.
Error Code 2: It looks like this device may have more than one Wi-Fi card. Please try using the automatic setup app on a different Wi-Fi enabled Windows device.
Error Code 3: It looks like this automatic setup app can’t find any Wi-Fi settings on your laptop. Please try using this app on a different Wi-Fi enabled Windows device.
Error Code 4: This automatic setup app is not compatible with this device. Please try using the automatic setup app on a different Wi-Fi enabled Windows device, or try using the online set up.
Error Code 5: This automatic setup app is not compatible with this device. Please try using the automatic setup app on a different Wi-Fi enabled Windows device, or try using the online set up.
Error Code 6: This automatic setup app is not compatible with this device. Please try using the automatic setup app on a different Wi-Fi enabled Windows device, or try using the online set up.
Error Code 7: This automatic setup app is not compatible with this device. Please try using the automatic setup app on a different Wi-Fi enabled Windows device, or try using the online set up.
Error Code 8: This automatic setup app is not compatible with this device. Please try using the automatic setup app on a different Wi-Fi enabled Windows device, or try using the online set up.
Error Code 9: This automatic setup app is not compatible with this device. Please try using the automatic setup app on a different Wi-Fi enabled Windows device, or try using the online set up.
Error Code 10: This automatic setup app is not compatible with this device. Please try using the automatic setup app on a different Wi-Fi enabled Windows device, or try using the online set up.
Error Code 11: Please make sure that Wi-Fi is enabled on your laptop and try again. If the problem persists try using the automatic setup app on a different Wi-Fi enabled Windows device.
Error Code 12: Please make sure that Wi-Fi is enabled on your laptop and try again. If the problem persists try using the automatic setup app on a different Wi-Fi enabled Windows device.
Error Code 13: Please make sure your laptop is connected to your home Wi-Fi network, and not the Filimin_############ Wi-Fi signal. Then try running the automatic setup app again.
Error Code 14: Turn on the Wi-Fi for your laptop and make sure it is connected to your Wi-Fi network. Then try running the automatic setup app again.
Error Code 15: It looks like your network authentication type isn’t compatible with your Friendship Lamp. You’ll need to try connecting to a different network.
Error Code 16: It looks like your Friendship Lamp may not be plugged in. Please plug in your Friendship Lamp and try again. If the problem persists, please contact us for help.
Error Code 17: The automatic setup app wasn’t able to connect your Friendship Lamp. Please try moving your laptop closer to the lamp and running the app again. If the problem persists, please contact us for help.
Error Code 18: The automatic setup app didn’t get confirmation from your Friendship Lamp after saving settings. Please try running through the setup again. If you continue to get this error, contact us for help.
Error Code 19: It looks like you are trying to connect to a 5Ghz network. Friendship Lamps can only connect to 2.4Ghz networks. Please connect this setup device to a 2.4Ghz network and try running the automatic setup app again. If you aren’t sure how to access your 2.4Ghz network, contact your internet provider for help.
